The chin, or paper lantern the shape of a round or cylinder, composed of a frame that holds a lampshade made of paper. It gives off a soft light thanks to a candle or a light bulb. The first paper lamps come from China and appeared in Japan about 600 years ago. The main difference was the reinforcement and positioning of the wires: vertical and not collapsible in China, horizontal and collapsible in Japan.
This Japanese ball lamp made of white paper emits a white or yellow light depending on the bulb chosen. Very practical, it can be folded to be stored more easily, without taking up space.
